WE LOVE OCEAN VIEW! Whenever we head to Maine, we always choose Ocean View! My Dad and his family have been coming since he was a little boy, then he introduced our family and we went every summer as kids to stay in the cabins. I bet no one can top my history at OCV!My Methodist minister parents first brought me to Ocean View “Cabins” in 1942. I bet no other writer and ongoing vacationer here can top this!! Now my husband and I travel from Korea where we live and teach to Wells, Maine every summer, just to sit and enjoy the ocean view from the rocker on the screened porch of Cottage 10. I have been privileged to be close friends with the 3 generations of Trafton owners, as were my parents before me. I have been coming to Ocean View almost every summer for over 50 years and through three generations of the Trafton family ownership. It isn’t summer without a trip to Ocean View and we enjoy being there in the fall also. It’s a great and welcoming family vacation spot! -Kathie L.

Our family has been going to Maine for years and we always pick Ocean View for camping. We enjoy the staff, they are all very nice. I think at some point we will go seasonal.

We always go off season when its more relaxed. My sister and our dog have been coming here for years. The people are friendly and the cabins are great. A home away from home. Love it!

We have been going to this place for about 9 years now. We have rented one of of cabins and loved it. Now we have our own camper,and go to Ocean View at least twice a year. The staff is great and the ground are kept nice.
